One of the highlights for "The Record Button" for me is getting to record a song written by my Uncle Robert Coyle A.K.A Bobby James. Since a young child I've been fascinated with a 45 vinyl record given to me by mother. It was a record from 1966 by Bobby James and The Dristells.
Bobby James, being my father's brother Robert Coyle. On my little bookcase record player, I would play this record, with a penny on the spindle, to stop from skipping.
Years later, I was given some clippings and press photos, sheet music for "True Blue". I did research on the internet trying to locate a better copy, a master tape.
I found this site recently, who my other uncle Jim, helped supply the contents.
Anyway, I decided to record the song myself.
